Job Details
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management following Barbara Starfield Principles, evidence-based guidelines, and initiatives within the clinic. Under a physician guided team approach, the FNP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments, monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.
EHR - AthenaOne
In-person care, home-based care, and televisits
Longer appointment lengths, 20-40 minutes per patient visit, 12-20 visits per day
Rotating call approximately every 7-8 weeks
Multi-disciplinary Team-based care collaboration and consultation in a collegial environment
4:1 ratio of Staff-to-Providers, above-standard of care
Individual growth and development opportunities in medicine and leadership
Education & Experience -
Current license to practice in the State of CO
Active DEA license
At least 5 years of medical experience in family medicine or equivalent combination of training and experience
Previous experience working in AthenaOne a plus!
