We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic medical team. This is a permanent role that will require you to provide exceptional patient care, diagnose health issues, prescribe medication, and formulate treatment plans. Responsibilities:
1. Provide primary healthcare services under the guidance of a physician.
2. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic diseases and injuries.
3. Prescribe medication and non-pharmacological interventions, monitor effectiveness of treatment plans, and follow-up on care.
4. Use electronic health records to document patient care, coding, and billing activities.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to enhance the continuity of care for patients.
6. Promote patient health by providing preventive health education and disease prevention/management.
7. Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.
8. Adhere to professional standards, core values, and the code of ethics of the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
3. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
4. Proficiency in electronic health records and medical software.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction, safety, and quality of care.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound judgments.
7. Strong clinical and problem-solving skills.
8. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is preferred.
9. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, if prescribing controlled substances, or eligibility to obtain.
