The Nurse Orthopedic Operating Room will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Orthopedic Operating Room. This role involves close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional surgical care.

The Orthopedic Operating Room is a dynamic and high-acuity environment dedicated to performing a wide range of orthopedic procedures. As an Nurse Orthopedic Operating Room, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. Your role includes monitoring patients’ vital signs, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring adherence to surgical protocols. Post-surgery, you will collaborate with the recovery team to provide seamless patient care, document surgical procedures accurately, and educate patients and their families about post-operative care.

The Nurse Orthopedic Operating Room will have an RN license strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
