The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex healthcare needs, both inpatient and outpatient, for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the pre-admission evaluation process including pre-procedure screening and preparing patients and their families for medical procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, providing guidance and resources to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance clinical practice and quality outcomes.
- Manage the department's budget to ensure financial growth and stewardship.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment that promotes the well-being of patients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to improve patient care and services.
- Use data to drive decision making and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in pre-admission evaluation, including pre-procedure screening and preparing patients and families.
- Expertise in managing complex healthcare needs, both inpatient and outpatient, for adult and pediatric patients.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing a budget.
- Excellent strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to use data to drive decision making and improve patient outcomes.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and implementing new processes and technologies.
