This position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the medical industry, a strong background in Quality Assurance, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement plans to meet organizational goals and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Implement and manage the Quality Assurance program, ensuring processes and procedures are in place to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, management, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Lead the organization in accreditation and licensure efforts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Utilize data to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Stay abreast of current trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the healthcare industry and adjust strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: CPHQ certification.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in a healthcare setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology.
