Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist or an RN. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects related to auditing med carts and med rooms in the LTC facilities serviced by HealthDirect. Ensuring proper storage and stability of medications supplied to LTC facilities by HealthDirect pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
- Responsible for auditing medication carts & medication rooms
- Records and reports to facility DON any insufficiencies found in med carts or med rooms
- Responsible for asking staff nurses as well as DON if there are any issues with pharmacy services
- Reports any pharmacy issues to pharmacy manager to address
- Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
- Required to travel to individual homes to complete routine med room & med cart audits
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Attendance Requirements:
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- LTC pharmacy experience preferred
- CNA or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Experience in medication administration helpful
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Drug test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring

Compensation:
$45.40 - $50.20 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
