Nuclear Med Tech - Mercy Medical Center

This position offers a $5000 sign on bonus

The Nuclear Med Tech will support out Hunt Valley office. This position will allow the person to work 4 - 10hour shifts or 5 - 8hour shifts. The shifts are weekdays with the optional Friday off, if working the 4-10s.

• Performs all scans according to departmental standards
• Effectively utilizes all equipment according to departmental policy
• Cooperates and collaborates with co-workers
• Q.C. work, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatric patients.

• License Requirements:

  ● Must be licensed with the State of Maryland-Board of Physician Quality Assurance
   

  Certification Requirements:

  ● Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Certification 

  ● BLS CPR
   

  Age Specific Care Provided For:

  ● Pediatrics

  ● Adolescents

  ● Adults

  ● Geriatrics
   

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  ● Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:

  ⚬ Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel

  ⚬ Microsoft Outlook

  ⚬ Meditech (if applicable to position)

  ⚬ Epic (if applicable to position)

  ⚬ Performance Manager/NetLearning

   

  ● Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

  ● Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

  ● Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.

  ● Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.

  ● Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
   

  Other Requirements:

  ● Lift and moves patients intermittently throughout the work day.
