A) Project Leadership and Market Analysis: Lead or organize project teams, conduct technical analysis of market and customer demands, and complete feasibility studies to determine the viability of new projects or products.
B) Technical Decision-Making: Lead the technology decision-making process, ensuring that sufficient technical specifications are provided to guide the design and development of new products.

2) NPI and Support for Volume Production 15%
A) Pilot Production Line Establishment: Lead or participate in setting up the pilot production line for new products. This involves overseeing the initial stages of production, ensuring that the line is correctly configured to produce the new products efficiently and safely.
B) R&D Deliverables Preparation: Prepare the necessary deliverables for new products in accordance with the R&D (Research and Development) process requirements. This may include documentation, prototypes, testing results, and other materials that are essential for the development and launch of new products.
C) Training for Production Personnel: Train process engineers, technicians, or operators who will be involved in volume production. This duty involves transferring the knowledge and skills necessary for the team to operate the production line effectively once the new products move from the pilot phase to full-scale production.
D) Pilot Line Control and Volume Production Support: Ensure that the pilot line for new products is under control and ready to support volume production. This includes monitoring the performance of the pilot line, addressing any issues that arise, and adjusting as needed to facilitate a smooth transition to mass production.
E) Special RMA and Technical Problem Support: Provide support in dealing with special RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issues and technical problems that may occur during volume production. This duty involves troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to ensure production quality and efficiency.
3) Project Schedule Management 15%
A) Customer Communication: Provide accurate and timely feedback to customers. This involves maintaining open lines of communication, ensuring that customers are informed about the status of their projects or any changes that may affect them.
B) Project Design and Development Familiarity: Be familiar with the processes involved in project design and development. Participate actively in the formulation of plans for projects or sub-projects, contributing to the strategic planning and decision-making processes.
C) Work Deployment and Timely Completion: Deploy work according to established plans, ensuring that projects are completed on time. This includes managing resources, schedules, and team efforts to meet deadlines. Regularly report on progress to stakeholders, keeping them informed of the project's status.
D) Quality Control Planning: Oversee documenting key points and completing the plan for processing quality control before mass production or importation of a new project. This involves establishing protocols and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained throughout the production process.
E) Plan Adjustment Application: Apply for changes to the project plan if it becomes evident that the original plan cannot be completed on time due to objective reasons. This duty requires identifying issues that may cause delays, proposing alternative solutions, and communicating these changes to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
4) Continuous Improvement 15%
A) Post-Transfer Technical and Quality Support: Assist in resolving technical and quality issues that arise during the production process after the transfer of technology or production techniques. This involves troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
B) Market and Technology Monitoring: Stay abreast of market dynamics, technological advancements, evolving customer needs, and cost requirements. Continuously improve existing processes and products based on these insights to maintain competitiveness and meet market demands.
C) Interdepartmental Technical Support: Provide technical support and services in collaboration with various departments, including sales, quality assurance, procurement, production, and planning. This duty involves working closely with these departments to address technical challenges, offer solutions, and ensure smooth operations across the organization.
5) Supervision, Management and Leadership 15%
A) Team Performance Management: Ensure the team is appropriately staffed, motivated, inspired, and engaged. Empower the team to deliver high-level, sustainable performance in a dynamic environment while maintaining cost levels that are both organizationally sustainable and reflective of market realities.
B) Talent Acquisition and Placement: Ensure the right people are placed in the right jobs by consistently applying proper interview and selection techniques throughout the team-building process. This involves identifying the best candidates and matching them to roles that suit their skills and the team's needs.
C) Learning and Development: Foster a learning environment and ensure the team receives the necessary training and development to consistently meet both short-term and long-term expectations. This includes ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
D) Communication and Information Flow: Ensure there is a free flow of two-way information to enable the team to work effectively. Maintain active and open communication channels to facilitate collaboration, transparency, and timely decision-making.
E) Health, Safety, and Environment (EH&S): Ensure an accident-free environment by adhering to all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace, and promote a culture where all accidents are considered preventable.
F) New Engineer Training: Train new engineers in development knowledge and skills. This involves imparting the necessary technical and professional expertise to help new team members become effective contributors to the team.
6)Human Resources/ Administration 15%
A) Information Systems and Reporting: Ensure that all department information systems, records, reports, and metrics are accurate and generated on time. This involves overseeing the data collection, management, and reporting processes to maintain reliability and timeliness.
B) Safety and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to company policy regarding all safety, environmental, and ergonomic requirements. This includes ensuring that all team members are aware of and follow these policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
C) Technology and Compliance Management: Understand and properly follow the company's Technology Control Plan, Intellectual Property (IP) protection, and Export Compliance requirements.
