Regional Sales Manager - Psychiatry Division

With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before, but providers often lack the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings.
Position Overview:
As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Psychiatry division, you will be responsible for leading a Regional Sales Team and exceeding sales goals. This role encompasses the creation and implementation of regional and territory business plans, as well as the selection, hiring, training, development, and management of Clinical Account Executives within a defined geographic region. The RSM will manage business results, sales activities, and cross-functional initiatives. This is a front-line sales management/leadership position covering several states and working with Account Executives in their assigned territories. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Provider Sales, US, for Neuro-Psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the growth of your sales team and their customers.
Coach and develop your team on territory management, sales process, and sales strategy.
Develop and maintain key customer relationships; assist in developing business solutions that are mutually beneficial; apply broader business scenarios and customer-focused models to achieve breakthrough results.
Plan and conduct regional sales meetings designed to inform and convey existing and new product knowledge and applications and enhance and develop sales and business skills.
Evaluate the performance of Clinical Account Executives.
Maintain a high level of product and market knowledge.
Identify opportunities with academic medical centers, large cancer centers, health systems, and other strategically important key accounts.
Manage oversight of the team's use of Salesforce to ensure accurate measurement of performance and pipeline progression.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to access resources and maximize outcomes.
Required Skills:
Experience within virtual and field selling environments.
Demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent.
Ability to prioritize and align organizational goals and objectives.
Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives.
Ability to engage in a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifferences while connecting client needs with our capabilities.
Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects, and prioritize daily tasks while managing critical deadlines.
Superior listening and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a very high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrate consistent closing abilities throughout the sales cycle.
Possess a very positive attitude and an understanding of the dynamics involved with organizational growth and change.
Proficient with all G Suite & Microsoft Office products, as well as app-based products.
Effective and regular utilization of Salesforce.com.
Advanced presentation skills and business acumen.

Required Education and Experience:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a relevant industry/commercial environment as a sales manager, leading a team of 8+ reps.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
A proven track record of success in a management role.

Salary Range:
The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from California and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. We offer a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical, and other benefits, depending on the position.
California Pay Range:
$120,000 - $180,000 USD
