Job Summary: The Physician Assistant or CRNP for Tadiso’s Mobile Unit (MU) will be working directly on the MU in the selected communities (up to 2) a day. This position will primarily be responsible for handling intakes and all other medical requirements to provide patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands a variety of models and theories of addiction and medical problems related to substance use disorder.
- Performs annual physical examination of patients in treatment
- Screen clients to determine need for medical attention and referrals
- Conducts full intake assessment including patient medical and addiction history
- Completes proper documentation within 24-hours of seeing the patient in the EMR
- Treats patients with dignity and respect
- Provide treatment services appropriate to personal and cultural identity
- Maintains the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with State and Federal Laws
- Participates in case conferences and disposition conferences with patient and counselor
- Collect specimens for blood and urine drug screens as needed
- Full knowledge of Tadiso safety and medical policies and procedures
- Complete dosage assessments and coordinate with Tadiso CRNP/Physician as needed
- Complete bi-monthly physical health assessments with all MU patients
- Document orders and information into the patient EMR
- Performs other assigned functions as needed for quality service and care
- Communicate properly with both Tadiso brick-and-mortar staff and MU staff regarding patient care
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Professional Requirements:
- Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean.
- Completes annual education requirements.
- Maintains regulatory requirements (license, registration).
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.
- Wears identification while on duty.
- Demonstrates self-assessment by separation of personal problems from the work environment.
Language Skills:
- Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, public and other agencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge.
Requirements/Education:
- Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania as a CRNP or Physican Assistant by the State Board of Medicine and three years experience in the medical field.
Physical Demands:
- Work environment of moderation in temperature and noise.
- Ability to carry 15lbs. (files).
- Ability to sit at desk for hours.
- Close vision at computer.
- Repetitive motions for computer use.

Annual salary is based on full time 1950 hours a year.
