As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients and their families by providing hospice care and related health services. Working closely with physicians and other members of the palliative care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and support.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Supportive Care Services and other team members to deliver hospice care and related health services.
Conduct bedside patient evaluations, assist with diagnosis and treatment, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on preventive care and medical issues.
Serve as a nursing resource, providing education and consultation to the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing required, along with certification from a National accrediting body. Current Massachusetts & Rhode Island R.N. registration also required.
Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, along with graduation from an A.M.A. approved Physician Assistant program and certification from a National accrediting body.
Massachusetts & Rhode Island Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License required.
Minimum of 5 years nursing experience preferred, with clinical nursing care experience in oncology, hospice, geriatrics, and/or intensive care.
Minimum of one year Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or exempt for medical or personal reasons.

Salary: $ 51.00 126.00 Per Hour
