Immediate and ongoing Locums and or Permanent opportunity to join an established practice located less than an hour from Boston, Providence, and Cape Cod. We are an award-winning private non-profit organization recognized for our quality and safety. Our group employs over 150 physicians across 18 offices.
We are looking for Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant to join our team on a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem basis. Candidates must have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. In this role, you'll work a mix of 12- and 8-hour shifts, managing a patient load of 25 to 30 per day. You will be supported by a dedicated team of Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Medical Receptionists. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality care in an urgent care environment, diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, using the Meditech EMR system, and collaborating effectively with the support staff.
Compensation for employed:
- Full & Part time: $80.00 per hour (Benefit eligible above 32 hours)
- Per Diem minimum of 4 shifts a month: $90.00 per hour
- Locums rate of $90 - $100 depending on experience and availability
- Potential Sign-on bonus for full time, pro-rated for part time employed
Hours of Operation: Monday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM and Sunday: Closed
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program
- Bachelor' Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- Current and unrestricted Massachusetts License
- Must have Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, strong clinical and
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Meditech
- Flexibility to work a combination of 12 and 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- BLS/ACLS certification and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
