If you are successful in your application for a job with us, you will be assigned a specific job every time you work a shift. However, you will likely find yourself doing a wide variety of tasks each time you work. You might sell tickets, but still help a customer at the snack bar or lend a hand cleaning an auditorium between shows.
For part-time positions, we are happy to employ students, retirees, and those with full-time jobs. We will do everything we can, within reason, to accommodate a wide variety of schedules. It is important during your interview that you let the manager know about any conflicts that may affect your availability. The theatre is open 365 days a year with holidays being some of our busiest times. While we work with everyone to make sure they have time with their families we also have to make sure the theatre is staffed.

QualificationsAll applicants must be at least twenty-one years old at the time of hire.
We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classic cocktails and custom, themed beverages to our Guests. The bartender will greet Guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.
To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming Guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Knowing the drink menus and informing Guests about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to Guests.
- Checking identification to ensure Guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
