As the Director of Business Development – Education, you will be the driving force behind expanding our education business across the Northeast Division. You'll be at the forefront of identifying new opportunities, crafting winning strategies, and empowering a team of education-focused account managers. This role demands an ambitious, results-driven professional who is ready to take on big challenges and turn them into even bigger wins.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Growth & Strategy – Develop and execute a high-impact plan to prospect, manage, and expand education-focused accounts.
Be a Connector – Build strong relationships across Shaw Industries, working with sales leadership, marketing, and account managers to ensure alignment and success.
Leverage Cutting-Edge Tech – Utilize tools like SFDC and Tableau to generate insights, track performance, and accelerate business growth.
Lead & Influence – Train and support sales teams on best practices in education account development, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.
Navigate the Landscape – Understand and maximize local contracts and agreements to gain a competitive edge in each market.
Win New Business – Identify, map, and execute strategic plans to land key education accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
A Proven Sales Leader – 5+ years of experience in commercial sales with a focus on education end-use accounts.
A Strategic Thinker – Ability to create and execute innovative plans that drive measurable results.
A Relationship Builder – Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams.
A Self-Starter – Highly motivated, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A Road Warrior – Willing and able to travel regularly throughout the Northeast Division.

Compensation:
Annual salary of $120-$150K + bonuses up to $50K based upon strategic goal attainment.
