- Our Nonwoven division provides a variety of technical products used in the medical, industrial and consumer marketplaces. PFG’s advanced finishing, laminating, and coating technologies deliver nonwovens and composites specifically designed to meet stringent industry and customer requirements. Our footprint includes patented materials as well as branded fabrics sold under the trademarks of Nexus®, Softguard® and Essentia®. PFG does not manufacture the base nonwoven film or chemistry. Our position in the supply chain is value add - which in many cases transforms a commodity into an innovative, multi-purpose material. A few examples of PFG nonwoven fabrics include: synthetic surfacing veil for fiberglass reinforced plastics; breathable viral barrier for a surgical gowns; chemical resistant laminates for protective apparel and flame retardant mattress construction fabrics.
Facilitating communications between the Customer, internal Quality Control and R & D are critical to maintaining and advancing this business. Additional skillsets:
- Knowledge of nonwovens
- Ability to simplify complex information for communication, education and persuasion of supply chain and internal peers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with sales/marketing experience
- Ability to grow sales with current and new customers using existing and new materials
- 5 + years of industry experience
- Travel 30-40%
To succeed in this role a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical field, such as Textile Engineering, and a background in technical sales is desired.
