VENTEON is hiring a NON PROFIT FINANCE DIRECTOR (Part Time) to provide support for a local organization. Manage the overall finance and accounting activities, meetings, and reporting. Make recommendations. Present financial data internally and to the Board of Directors. Interface with outside agencies overseeing investments, audits, etc.
POSITION TYPE: Hybrid position working part time 20-25 hour per week. Additional hours during audit and tax season.
PAY: $45.00-$60.00 per hour. company benefits are available.

Requirements of the Non-Profit Finance Director:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master Degree, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of Finance and Accounting work experience. Possess strong skills with financial management.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, etc.
- Ability to synthesize and present financial data.
- Prior experience working for a nonprofit. Knowledge of nonprofit reporting and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent technical skills in MS Office and MS Excel. Prior experience working with grant software highly desirable.
Duties of the NonProfit Finance Director:
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization s mission and goals.
- Create budgets based on short term and long term financial needs. Monitor and review budgets, track progress, adjust. Track and report the progress of grants.
- Prepare and analyze financial data and reports. Meet with senior management to discuss findings. Develop and discuss financial strategies. Prepare and present financial information to the Board of Directors.
- Manage financial risk. Develop and implement internal controls and strategies to minimize financial risk.
- Take part in performing due diligence for grantees by examining grantees governance, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, projections, etc.
- Manage cash flow, monitor expenses, maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit reporting and regulations.
