My client, an amazing nonprofit for over 75 years, is seeking an Accounting Manager due to retirement. 37 ½ hour work week. This role handles all the accounting for the company with no direct reports. Wonderful benefits including retirement match. Hybrid after training. Located close to Metro Center in Nashville. Salary goes up to $65,000 plus discretional bonus. Permanent direct hire.

Overview of the Nonprofit Accounting Manager:

• The Accounting Manager oversees accounting from A-Z including general ledger, month end close, reconciliations, cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, payroll, and financial
• This role handles all the accounting for the company with no direct reports.
• Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same.
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
• Comply with national, local, and nonprofit financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
• Report to CEO and Board of Directors with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on organizational and program budgets.

Preferred Qualifications for the Nonprofit Accounting Manager:

• QuickBooks experience is required.
• Four plus years of accounting experience.
