Non-Invasive Cardiologist
We are seeking a dedicated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established Cardiology Division in Fall River, Massachusetts. This position invites a professional who is eager to contribute to a diverse patient base through both outpatient care and inpatient consultative roles, embodying a significant scope of non-invasive cardiology practices. Salary: $208,000.00 - $389,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive outpatient cardiology practice, including the provision of diverse non-invasive cardiac testing.
- Perform regular hospital consults at Saint Anne's Hospital, encompassing the interpretation of EKGs, Holter monitors, and cardiac stress tests.
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists on managing inpatient duties for conditions such as acute myocardial infarctions, congestive heart failure, and dysrhythmias.
- Coordinate with a team of three cardiac nurse practitioners to ensure continuity and quality of patient care within the hospital settings.
- Leverage on-site imaging and testing services to streamline and enhance patient-centered cardiologic care.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.
- Completion of a fellowship in non-invasive cardiology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EKG, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress test interpretation.
- Familiarity with 3-D echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT, and further non-invasive diagnostic techniques.
- Robust clinical skills for managing acute cardiac episodes and inpatient consults.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a large scale outpatient clinic environment.
- Prior experience working in a physician-owned multispecialty group.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with integrated care models.
