Transdev is proud to offer: + $20.01/HR with annual increases based on years of employment! + Safety & Customer Service Incentive Plan to eligible drivers + Attractive benefits package; medical, dental and vision with a large company contribution to you! + Tuition Assistance Program - DeVry University + 401k with company contribution + Paid sick and holidays for Shuttle Drivers + Paid vacation + Cutting edge paid training + Year-round work + Freedom of being out on the open road (No desk work!) + Serving passengers who live and work in your community Responsibilities: + Drive one of several different shuttle or company non-revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule. + Maintain a strong attendance record. + Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required. + Possess a functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area. + Stop at designated points to load and/or unload passengers. + May assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and is required to properly secure wheelchairs and scooters. + Notify dispatch of deviations, overload, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical trouble. + Assure that fares are deposited into the fare box and dispenses information. Advises passengers of rules and regulations when necessary. + Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents. + Operate on-board computer equipment, fare boxes and destination signs. + Consistently provide great customer service + Assume any and all other duties assigned. Requirements: + 21 years or older + Valid driver's license for at least three years + Excellent verbal communication & customer service skills + Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason. + DOT medical card required. (We pay exam fee!)
