We are currently looking for a Supervisor to work our evening shift 7:30p-6:00a M-Th. Training will take place on first shift (6a-5:30p) for a minimum of 30 days.

Job Description
General Summary:
The Night Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for resolving any issues that arise on the off shift, managing the daily workload for each team member and working with the Cell leaders to achieve the daily business goals. The Shift Supervisor will collaborate with the Department Supervisors to ensure plans and actions transfer seamlessly from first shift to the off shifts.
The Shift Production Supervisor will oversee and manage off shift production employees and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Coordinate daily workflow and operations on the off shifts. Ensure quality measures are consistently being met, while also maintaining optimal levels of efficiency on each production line.
Essential Duties: The following is a list of the general duties performed in this position. It is not meant to be an exhaustive list.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Conducts start of shift meetings
- Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift.
- Oversees the daily work and assignments of the production shift.
- Will constantly strive to improve SQDC performance on their shift
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Timely communication with first shift Department Supervisors as needed
- Manages employee relations, conflict, safety and training.
- Motivates personnel to continuously improve using kaizen
- Plans and establishes OT as needed for that specific shift
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
- Follow the daily Leader standard work to ensure all operations are achieving the SQDC goals
- Escalates through Phone calls to leaders and support personnel any issues that cannot be resolved by personnel on that shift
- Ensures that all personnel are following their daily standard work
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to be decisive including the development of alternative course of action based on facts and logic while considering organizational resources, values and principles.
- Interpret daily, weekly, monthly and yearly key business indicators, i.e., quality, cost and delivery reports.
- Identify improvement opportunities and utilize appropriate problem-solving tools and relevant data to continuously improve business processes.
- Develop the skills and competencies of others through training and development activities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
- Understands key business indicators used by the company.
- Strong Business Acumen obtained through coursework in relevant program or equivalent life experience. 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- 8 - 10 years minimum successful essential duty related experience.
- Successful experience building and leading high performing teams, growing employee engagement and facilitating cross functional collaboration.
- Successful experience executing production systems and processes in a short run, high mix environment. Experience in Aerospace preferred.
- Successful experience driving change and particularly continuous improvement.
- Specific knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing theory, quality systems, GD&T and leadership techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ERP and Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
- Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to ITARs policy and practice.

Physical requirements:
- Primary work environment: Across the facility’s whole production floor
- Vision to AS 9100 standards.
- Ability to ambulate to and through work cells and all areas of the plant.
- Lift, push and/or pull 70 pounds.
- Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift.
- Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
