System One is assisting a client to IMMEDIATELY fill a direct-hire, Night Aluminum Supervisor in the Hubbard, Ohio area.
*$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!*
7PM-7AM; Salary $80k+
Position Summary:
The Night - Aluminum Supervisor oversees operations, processing, and shipments of all Aluminum orders. This position is required to work with customers and suppliers (internally and externally) to assure the castings we make exceed expectations of quality and timing in a safe condition.

What you will do:
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by defining and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Responsible for meeting daily casting requirements including but not limited to metallurgical requirements, schedule adherence and workforce management.
- Directs the creation of charge plans to create the lowest cost mix that will meet customer requirements.
- Reduce downtime and increase efficiency of equipment.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a crew while demonstrating dignity and respect in conjunction with the Company's culture.
- Develops and trains employees to work in an efficient, safe manner.
- Responsible for maintaining all documents to support the Quality Management System.
- Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed and applied in a fair and consistent manner.
- Review/approve Timesheets in UltiPro for payroll processing.
- Make recommendations for staffing needs, job advancement, promotional opportunities, or other change of status regarding department employees.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in heavy manufacturing operations, preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity, preferred.
- Knowledge/Experience of molten metal casting, preferred.
- ISO 9000 Certification Experience, preferred.
- Experience with automotive standards, preferred.
- Experience with Aerospace, preferred.
- Experience working in a non-union environment.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Supply management and manufacturing control planning.
- Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis tools/skills – 5 Why’s, Fishbone, FMEA
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Safety focus: manage safety training and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Possess sound judgement with ability to make independent decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Syteline experience is a plus.
- Team player with strong customer focus and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment and maintain good working relationships with customers co-workers from different backgrounds, educational levels and with skill sets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level, along with possessing integrity and trust.
- Willingness and ability to work outside of normal work hours.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally occasionally (<10%); reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Education and Experience
- Aluminum Casting experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- BS degree in management or related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.
