Responsibilities:
As a NICU Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Operating daily operations of the NICU department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are consistently met.
2. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
3. Providing leadership and direction to the team, promoting the highest standards of professional conduct and patient care.
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
5. Responding to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
6. Managing patient admissions and discharges, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
7. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of NICU Nurse, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A current and valid California RN License.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in NICU.
3. A patient-centered approach, with a strong commitment to providing the highest standards of care.
4. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within the first 12 months.
5. Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
7. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
8. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare.
