What you'll be able to do:
We are seeking Construction Inspectors for full-time project-specific positions starting in Spring 2025. Construction Inspectors are responsible for overseeing and inspecting highway and bridge construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations. Work locations include Syracuse, Utica, Albany, Watertown, Rochester, Buffalo, and Binghamton.
The minimum requirements we seek:
- NICET II, III or IV certification or equivalent experience
- Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on highway or bridge construction projects.
- ACI Certified
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various construction sites as needed.

- Construction Inspector Level III $38.00-$47.00/hour*
