We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent NGS Sales Manager to join our dedicated team in the scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) portfolio, developing long-term customer relationships, and effectively communicating our value proposition to a diverse customer base. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales expertise in a highly technical and exciting scientific field.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets for the NGS product portfolio.
2. Cultivate and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and business objectives.
3. Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
4. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
5. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, networking, and social media.
6. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
7. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
8. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
9. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the industry.
10. Continually enhance sales skills and industry knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field. An advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in B2B sales, preferably in the scientific industry.
3. Demonstrated understanding of NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) technology and its applications.
4. Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Ability to build productive professional business relationships.
6. Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record in sales.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
9. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
10. Familiarity with CRM practices and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
11. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
12. Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
