What We Need:
iHeartMedia has an opening for a seasoned Part-Time News Anchor/Reporter on multiple stations in multiple markets throughout the country. The employee will also perform in-house reporting duties, produce content for national wire service, and perform general newsroom assignments. Candidates should have high standards for audio quality, strong on-air presentation skills, and the ability to write radio broadcast-style copy.
What You'll Do:
+ Anchor newscasts for multiple markets.
+ Write clear, concise news copy.
+ Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire.
+ Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.
+ Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift.
+ May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
+ Extensive "on-air" background
+ Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.
+ Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
