Overview:We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for our Sales Department. In this position you will support the sales team with a primary focus on coordinating sales activities. This includes but is not limited to supporting the sales staff in all phases of the customer relationship process, maintaining, or increasing sales for the department, and assisting with inventory management, sales transactions and customer follow-up. You continually challenge yourself to improve the performance of the departments and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
Responsibilities:- Work with Sales teams to build a strong customer pipeline; establish and accurately maintain customer accounts and contact lists on a daily basis; ensure all customers understand TEC Equipment’s value proposition including how, where, and when they can utilize our services, and why they should.
- Track and record all inbound equipment inventory including coordinating shop work to make equipment line ready. Review and code invoicing from the original equipment manager (OEM) and ensure timely processing through central accounting.
- Review and follow-up all OEM related receivables to ensure timely receipt of payment for all secondary requests for sales allowance and other related receivables.
- Work with OEM National Accounts team to invoice all sales transactions, track, and coordinate delivery of units to ultimate customer destination through several dealer groups and ensure timely flooring payoff of sold units. Monitor recovery from and/or additional payments required to the OEM for all residual transaction differences.
- Offer superior level of service to customers and maintain all standards according to company policy in order to ensure TEC is recognized for A+ customer satisfaction. This means proactively providing up-to-date status of service, pricing, leasing options, and new product release launches; proactively updating customers on product changes and modifications; being authentic in a desire to help customers and seeking out opportunities to surprise the customers with a higher level of service than they have seen before.
- Coordinate booking of all monthly equipment transactions including review of gross profit sheets and ensure transactions record smoothly through accounting.
- Attend training, departmental meetings, and be willing to attend Trade Shows and Conferences if requested by management to stay up to date on changes, industry trends and technological advances
- Minimum two years’ experience in fast-paced administrative support role
- Proficient with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, copiers, phone systems, etc.) and computer programs (e.g., MS Office Word and Excel, etc.)
- Excellent phone etiquette, professional demeanor, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain organized files and multi-task successfully
- Experience within heavy duty equipment industry preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements
