This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! As we grow, we’re seeking an entry-level team member to join us as a Pricing Clerk who is able to complete a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising. You will also collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed. Are you a people person? Do you want to have a positive impact on your community? What will you be doing?
- Ensure pricing accuracy by auditing and updating shelf tags, signs, and promotional materials.
- Monitor price changes and implement updates in a timely manner to align with store promotions.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to maintain proper product placement and signage.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Respond to pricing inquiries from customers and resolve any issues promptly.
- Operate and troubleshoot pricing equipment and handheld devices.
What skills will you use?
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate pricing updates.
- Basic proficiency in using technology and handheld devices for data entry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Previous retail or pricing experience is a plus but not required.
