The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond!
As an Assistant Teacher, you are:
+ Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
+ Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
+ Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
+ Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have:
+ Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool. Bachelors degree and P-3 certification is preferred.
+ Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
+ The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
+ Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
