New Construction Superintendent - Brewer's Default

Position: Superintendent

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled New Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of successfully overseeing new construction projects

The primary responsibility of the superintendent is to provide support to the field operations team in the executionof their duties. 

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of new construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, and safety
• Coordinate with vendors and other project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project
• Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays
• Monitor and enforce adherence to project timelines 
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress
• Communicate effectively with project team members, providing clear direction and guidance as needed
• Proactively identify and address potential issues or conflicts that may impact project progress

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Residential New Construction Plumber OR experience in leading residential new construction plumbing.   
• Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and/or plumbing ISO’s. 
• Have skills in ABS, copper and plastic water supply piping.  
• Possess strong soldering and other piping connection skills. 
• Understand building codes. 
• Able to work with truck stocking, packing slips and other types of inventory control.

• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
• Thorough understanding of quality building practices.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
