About the Job
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Network Voice Engineer, to work in Dallas, TX.
Technical Skills:
- Expert level understanding of Cisco Unified Communication Products, including CUCM (11.5 and later), CUC (11.5 and later), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) (11.5 and later), and IM Presence & Jabber.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting SIP Trunks, E1/T1 (CAS, CCS), FXS/FXO, and gateway protocols such as H323, SIP, MGCP, SCCP.
- Ability to analyze SIP/MGCP/H323 logs and perform troubleshooting.
- Experience in configuring analog gateways/phones according to customer requirements and standards.
- Good understanding of UCS machines, ESXI, CIMC, and Media resources.
- Familiarity with Webex Control Hub and Cisco Cloud related to Cisco Voice infrastructure.
- Basic troubleshooting skills in LAN, WAN, VLAN, Voice VLAN, VTP, STP, PoE, Ether channel, HSRP.
- Knowledge of recording servers like Higher Ground, Nice Perform 4.5 and later.

- Ability to analyze, configure, and troubleshoot large Cisco voice networks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technology to non-technical audiences.
- Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge in incident and problem management practices.
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Implementation of effective policies, processes, and procedures, including automation opportunities.
- Responsible for day-to-day incidents and problem management across the team.
- Data analysis, trend identification, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Governance of specific KPIs and recommendations for quality improvement.
- Collaboration in a global environment and stakeholder engagement and management.

- Crisis management and leadership skills.
Qualifications/Certifications:
- CCNA and CCNP in Cisco Voice Collaboration (required).
- CCIE Written or Lab certification (added value).
