About the Role
Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Carol Stream Illinois
Required:
- Looking for 3 plus experience in IS service delivery organization
- A+ Certified
- Great communication to speak the end user customers
- Working knowledge of PBX administration, VoIP, and technologies
- Networking issues (complex enterprise class systems with security compliances, corporate networking environment- if they’ve worked in a corporate env on networking issues they will be familiar)
- Experience in Windows Operating systems and administration with similar technologies, MS office, Visio, and Project
- Experience and troubleshooting for desktop support and desktop operating systems
- Working knowledge of Ware Maintenance Systems and Material Handling Systems
Minimum Qualifications:
Provide support to end users or processes that cannot be resolved by 1st level support (Client Services Desk)
Process Moves, Adds and Changes to the end user environment and infrastructure
Monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains
Network (LAN, WAN, Wireless, VOIP, RF)
Network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers)
Server equipment
Voice and Telecom technologies (paging, video conference, and telephones)
Desktop technologies
Installation and support of Servers, PC hardware, RF devices.
Ensures all time and work effort for incidents and tasks are recorded in the ticketing system (Service-Now)
Prepares and supports users by writing and maintaining documentation that provides help to answer questions and resolve problem
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $30,000 - $ 52,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate
