Position: Network Field Technician
Salary Range: $24.99 - $32.55 per hour
Clearance: Clearable to Q

KeyLogic is seeking a qualified Network Tech to support the enterprise network team at a major Department of Energy Laboratory.
The organization's mission is to deliver secure, consistent, and capable network and virtual services to ensure faster realization of business value to end users. This organization is responsible for providing secure, consistent, and highly available network infrastructures and virtual services to meet the labs corporate and mission IT needs. Virtual Services will enable people to work with confidence in a secure computing environment. This support includes network and virtual services development, design, implementation, testing, trouble resolution, network monitoring tools, and maintenance contracts. 

Responsibilities:

The Subcontractor shall:

• Provide Network Field Support Services
• Review incoming IT Service Desk requests and resolve customer requirement issue
• Coordinate with Network Advanced Field Operations Team as needed to support activation of device ports.
• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
• May also design network and computer security measures.
• May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree with 5 years experience.
• In lieu of degree 8 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance
