About the Job
Network/Systems Engineer
Our Northshore base client operates a mission critical 24x7 Datacenter and is looking to add to their team. The Network/Systems Engineer is a full time, direct hire opportunity and where this is a very hands on position being in the office daily is a requirement. No hybrid or remote is available.
This is a technically diverse position so if you love technology and want to get your hands into a bit of everything this would be a kid in a candy story type of opportunity. Ideally you will have a heavy Network background, specifically network protocols and network troubleshooting. Along with that the Datacenter has a mix of Windows and Linux servers and where the team is currently strong on the Windows side they are hoping to enhance their Linux expertise including SELinux. If you had experience with virtualization to include either VMWare or KVM that would be a slam dunk but they are allowing people to come up to speed and learn on the job.
Being a family run business, the culture is representative of that. When you join you will not be a number, you will be a member of a close nit group that are all swimming in the same direction. Ideally you will bring many/most of the skills needed to be successful on day one and the company has a track record investing in their people and will train to keep people current or enhance their current skillset. Salary depends on experience and they are willing to get creative for the right candidate.
