A member of the IT department, the Network Security Manager leads the network security team, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure. They conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and incident investigations, staying updated on the latest security trends and technologies. This role involves recommending appropriate security solutions, training team members on security protocols, and ensuring departmental goals and budgets are met. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of network security practices, and a commitment to maintaining a secure network environment. This position is based at our corporate office in Fresno, CA.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 / per hour + bonus
Shift Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or as needed
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Position Type: In-office full time
Core Responsibilities:
- Manages a network security team, overseeing the day-to-day performance of their jobs and ensuring departmental goals and project milestones are met within approved budgets.
- Network Security Assessments- Leads network security assessments and risk analysis, making recommendations to improve network security and mitigate potential threats.
- Incident Investigation- Investigates security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Stays abreast of the latest network security trends and technology, recommending appropriate security products and solutions for various network platforms.
- Trains network security analysts on relevant networks, tools, policies, and procedures, ensuring the team is well-equipped to handle security challenges.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- 1 Network Administrator

- Works autonomously.
- Ability to work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
- Technical expertise in network administration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of scripting and programming for process automation.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A 4-year bachelor's degree within Information Systems or Technology preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
