The Network Security Analyst will be a part of a global team that oversees operations of critical network and platform security infrastructure for Koch Industries. In this role you will be developing, building, and supporting tools and that enable our global teams against security attacks and empower them to run the businesses. The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for the security operations in the network security environment. As network security becomes an increasingly integral part of IT functions, this person will be leveraged to configure and maintain systems that protect Koch Industries from cyber security threats.
Our Team
The KGS Secure Connectivity Solutions (SCS) team provides reliable, flexible, and secure connectivity solutions that enable business solutions and perpetual transformation. We manage network and network security infrastructure, including wide area networking, local area networking, wireless, firewalls, datacenter networking, load balancing, endpoint security, and proxies. We provide enterprise infrastructure monitoring for IT components across the enterprise. We are currently focused on the following transformation strategies: talent, proactive management, process optimization and automation, security by design, and adopting a product focused organization.
What You Will Do
Responsible for operations of our network security environments which include requests, break fix, troubleshooting, new setups, logging, and reporting on alerts.
Ensure Internet proxy and remote access services are stable and well maintained, including firmware upgrades, policy configuration, and auditing.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Internet proxy and remote access capability and supporting operational issue resolution.
You will be part of global operations team for security and network performing operational tasks and on-call when required.
Consult with other teams and internal customers on operational related tasks.
Apply strong communication, collaboration, and critical/economic thinking skills when working with customers and peer teams.
Ensure security best practices are applied.
Drive strategy and innovation that aligns to long-term business objectives.
Become sufficiently knowledgeable in cross-functional tools and services.
Operates, documents, and maintains security controls.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience supporting large/complex enterprise networks and firewalls.
Ability to analyze network packet traces (PCAP).
Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
Deep understanding of network security systems, intrusion detection systems and protocols.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience with Cisco ISE & SDWAN.
Experience with Process Control Networks (PCN), IoT, IT/OT.
Network+, Security+, GSEC, PCNSE certifications.
