Network Manager - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Network Manager for a direct hire and full-time hybrid opportunity near Akron, OH.  Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering along with leadership experience and skills in Cisco, AWS, and Palo Alto.

Salary Range:  $120-$150K plus bonus, salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Network Manager job responsibilities include:

• Lead networking projects and network operations within Cisco, AWS, Palo Alto, and SD-WAN.

• Serve as technical point of escalation in network management.

• Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing technologies.

• Complete projects by coordinating resources and timelines with various departments.

• Manage support activities to ensure that service level agreements are met or exceeded.

• Manage and lead a high performing technical team and deliver performance feedback, coaching and mentoring.

• Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing team standards.

• Actively manage relationships with all related vendors.

• Recommend information technology strategies for business growth, system performance, security, and other system enhancements by maximizing functionality of existing technologies and providing recommendations for upgrades as needed.

• Proactively research ways to improve efficiency, thus increasing productivity and ease of use for internal customers.

• Manage support agreements/budgets/Service contracts as required for responsible technologies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• 10+ years of experience with strong networking background in AWS Cloud/Cisco/Palo Alto/BGP/MPLS

• SD-WAN is a plus

• Experience within leadership of teams or a network

• 5+ years managing and executing large technical projects

• Ability to manage multiple projects and business requests simultaneously

• Strong customer service orientation

• Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities, growth, and development of technical, interpersonal and business skills; able to recognize and address areas needing improvement
