Job Description:
- Manage a large team of global Incidents & SRF engineers, as well as oversight of vendor managed functions
- Manage end-to-end operations support and service request fulfilment services for Load Balancer and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IP address management) domains within the Network Service Delivery and Operations organization.
- Provide leadership during complex break/fix incidents and ensure adequate resolution
- Direct the team through post incident reviews, root cause analysis and identify corrective actions
- Set the strategy and develop approaches to monitor and validate service functionality of Load Balancer and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IP address management) services
Requires Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years network operations delivery and/or technology management experience
- B.S. degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience in F5 (Physical) & AVI (Virtual) Load balancing technologies and DNS, DHCP and I.P. address management.
- Expertise in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level network security technologies.
- Good knowledge on virtual appliances and cloud architecture
- Experience with migrations from Physical to virtual infrastructure
- Expert understanding of network protocols and routing/switching
- Hands on network security troubleshooting, network-based forensics, and proficient with packet analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to present at an executive level.
Good to Have:
- Experience in managing a team of 10+ members
- Expertise with these core technologies:
- f5 Load balancers
- Virtual appliances (AVI Load balancers)
- DNS, DHCP, I.P. Address management (Vital QIP and/or Bluecat)
