About the Job
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with the DoD to create a dependable network that supports critical missions. Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), customers, and end-users, you will gain insights into the strategic goals and operational needs driving network requirements. Your role will involve contributing your expertise to the planning, acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components. Whether it's resolving interoperability challenges across different platforms or assisting in hardware acquisition, your proficiency in both hardware and software will be instrumental. Requirements:
5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and providing advanced support for multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks.
Proficiency in deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting network and security equipment and solutions from various vendors, such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, or VMware.
Ability to document complex network and security systems and procedures for implementation and troubleshooting purposes.
Experience working with secret classified networks.
Familiarity with operating, deploying, or administering Linux or UNIX systems.
Knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs.
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with security, routing, and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, IPsec, STP, or L3VPNs.
Previous experience with DoD networks.
Familiarity with STIGing or security hardening of systems.
Experience working with Windows systems and services.
Knowledge of Commercial or DoD Cloud networks.
Familiarity with Software Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN).
Exposure to F5 systems.
Master's degree.
Industry Networking Certification, such as CCNA, CCNP, VMWare, JNCIA, or JNCP.
Security Clearance:
Applicants selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salaries are determined based on various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually.
