Job Purpose:
- Responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and providing support for network services across several disparate locations, including but not limited to: LAN, WAN, WiFi services, Firewalls, Reverse Proxy, legacy VoIP, legacy VPN, and network security.
- Provide off hours support to critical systems as needed and assist with developments in the Pernod Ricard network infrastructure by integrating new technologies and recommending changes that support the business in meeting company goals.
- Daily Operations - provide technical expertise on all aspects of network services, ensuring services are highly available, addressing and correcting problems in a timely manner, providing off hours support to critical systems as needed.
- Network Support - provide second and third level support for complicated networking problems, recognizing critical issues and making timely decisions for quick resolution. Provide trend identification and root cause analysis.
- Performance & Tuning – Monitor and tune network services to achieve network availability and performance objectives. Evaluate, implement, and manage appropriate software and hardware solutions for load balancing and network monitoring
- Network Planning - design and implement high availability and fault tolerant network solutions that support network related business services internal and external to Pernod Ricard, making recommendations based on current capacity, future initiatives, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Ensure network technology solutions adhere to Pernod Ricard communication and security policies, and that that appropriate security safeguards are designed, implemented, and periodically validated.
- Change Management – Following established IT change management policy and procedures, test, schedule, and implement changes on test and live environments.
- Backups – ensure recoverability of network services by implementing a schedule of system backups and archive operations. Develop, document, maintain and periodically test disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Vendor Management – Manage the network vendors and services to ensure delivery of service in compliance with the contracted service level agreements.
- Documentation - Maintain a comprehensive network hardware and software configuration database and all supporting documentation for relevant systems.

- Education required: Client+2/+4 (computer science) with relevant experiences
- 5+ years of experience as described by the technical skills profile
- Possess the appropriate industry certification and training path
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
- Expert knowledge in high-end wide area networking technologies including MPLS, VPN, T1/E1, DS3, Private Lines, Broadband and ISDN.
- Expert knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
- Expert Knowledge in local area network (VLAN, Trunking) and advanced switching protocols and design.
- Strong knowledge of security infrastructure design (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Concentrator, IPSec, ISAKMP, Cisco Secure, etc.).
- Strong knowledge with remote access solutions including dial-up, VPN based, RADIUS, TACACS+ and strong authentication mechanisms (SSL, SSH, etc).
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and basic Microsoft infrastructure
- Strong knowledge in wireless infrastructure technologies including 802.11 (WiFi), LEAP, and complementing and emerging 3G technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network capacity planning techniques and technologies
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Knowledge of Cisco wifi suite including Cisco Meraki and Cisco WLC is a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco SDWAN solutions including Meraki and iWAN is a plus
- Knowledge of Checkpoint solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco Anyconnect is a plus
- Knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and ZPA is a plus
- Knowledge of F5 and other reverse proxies is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Occasional travel within region is required (10%)
