Responsibilities:
Ensures Security Compliance: Monitors and enforces adherence to security standards, policies, and procedures.
Project Implementation: Oversees or directly implements internal client projects, providing feedback and guidance to team members as needed.
Escalation Point: Serves as a Level 4 escalation point for the support team, addressing complex issues.
Staff Development: Participates in the technical development of staff, including training and mentoring team members.
Training Programs: Develops and conducts comprehensive Information Security training programs.
Technical Leadership: Acts as a technical expert and lead for departmental engineers and architects.
Advanced Network Support: Functions as a Level IV Network Engineer, providing advanced functional and technical support.
Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Cisco and Palo Alto, with Palo Alto experience being essential.
IT Experience: 7-10 years of IT experience, including over 5 years in networking, technical domains, computer architecture, and operating systems (primarily LINUX, Windows, and Mobile).
Information Security: Strong background in information security, with a deep understanding of business concepts such as financial requirements, compliance, and risk management.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing large, complex implementations and deployments of security tools and programs.
