Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineer I:
– Design, implementation, and troubleshooting of networking equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
– Execution of network engineering configuration changes and documentation in a complex IT environment
– Maintain a can-do attitude in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
– Active participation in our client's team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– This is a direct hire position requiring an active Top Secret Clearance
Required Skills for Network Engineer I:
– Working knowledge of spanning tree, trunking, routing protocols, first hop redundancy protocols, and IP subnetting
– Active DoD8570.01-MIAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent) with Continuing Education (CE)
– BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
– Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
