Network Engineer

Onsite - Westport, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and document network devices (Cisco routers, switches, WiFi access points, Avaya UC endpoints, etc.).
- Assist with LAN moves, additions, and changes; maintain records and security measures.
- Troubleshoot network issues via phone, office visits, or remote monitoring.
- Collaborate with the ITS team and support infrastructure challenges.
- Help with data circuit installations and network configurations for new buildings.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience with Cisco Networking systems, including installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS and related systems.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for learning new technology.
Preferred Experience:
- Cisco ISE, DNA Center, SDA, SD-WAN Architecture.
- HPE Aruba Mobility Manager and Aruba Airwave Controllers.
Education:
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 2 years of experience with Cisco networks; CCNP or CCIE certification preferred. Advanced education can substitute for some experience.
