1) Network Engineer
Location: Cleveland, OH
Rate : $40- $45
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
· Design, build, and administer Explorys' enterprise datacenter networks
· Automate operational tasks
· Lead network design discussions and reviews
· Work with internal teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
· Add features & enhancements to existing network monitoring and management tools
· Be a member of the on-call rotation helping with monitoring, problem identification, escalations, and notifications related to all production systems and services
· Develop deployment plans and create supporting documentation for network engineering and operation activities
· Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills
· Have a strong desire to continuously improve
· The ability to approach problems in a flexible and creative manner
· Capability for being thoughtful and collaborative
· Excellent analytical and technical skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to quickly comprehend functions and capabilities of new technologies
· Comfort with ambiguity and abstract concepts
· Effective time management skills are a must. Moving fast doesn't mean quality suffers!
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years supporting enterprise networks.
· CCNA or equivalent certification.
· In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies.
· Professional level understanding of routing and switching technologies.
· Experience configuring and supporting Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.
· Foundational understanding of Linux systems administration and scripted languages (Python, Ruby, or related) are an added benefit.
· Comfortable analyzing packet captures.
· Ability to troubleshoot difficult hardware, software, and security problems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:
· 3+ years of Linux systems administration.
· 2+ years of Ansible or related automation toolset experience.
· Understanding and experience with DevOps culture, toolsets and methodologies.
· Experience working with SaaS product offerings.
· CCNP or equivalent certification.
