About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate client/vendor connectivity during data center moves.
- Oversee the migration from legacy networks to new network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure timely and effective project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed progress reports for management and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain connectivity with clients and vendors, ensuring smooth integration
- Coordinate with networking and engineering teams to address MPLS or VPN connectivity needs.
- Address customer requirements promptly and maintain strong client relationships.
- Continuously analyze and resolve networking issues by leveraging knowledge of network operating systems, devices, and protocols.
- Stay updated with network architecture analysis and engineering implementations.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams and vendors to establish and verify client/vendor connectivity.
- Track and report progress/status of all connectivity projects.
- Provide regular updates and collaborate with networking and engineering teams.
- Respond to and resolve customer queries and issues as they arise.
- Maintain effective communication with networking, client services, and MPLS providers.
Preferred Experience and Attributes:
- Previous experience managing data center or networking infrastructure moves.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol suite and BGP.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills and client services experience.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to customer schedules and requirements.
- Experience with WAN/LAN network management, network documentation, and service delivery management.
- Understanding of Hyperscale systems, Cloud computing, SaaS, and hosted systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
