Network Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an opportunity for a talented and motivated Network Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality network solutions. This is an exciting contract-to-direct opportunity, offering the chance to build a long-term career with us! You'll have the flexibility to choose your work location from Tucson, AZ, Omaha, NE, or Atlanta, GA.

Note: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA to be considered.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex wired and wireless networks for enterprise environments.
• Partner with pre-sales teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Provide advanced support to network technicians, escalating issues as needed.
• Offer technical assistance to help desk personnel.

We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• A CCNA or CWNA certification (preferred).
• Proven experience deploying and managing Ruckus Wireless equipment in production environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).

Bonus Points for:

• In-depth understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
• Mastery of IPv4, including subnetting.
• Expertise in 802.11 WiFi and RF fundamentals.
• Experience with network services like NTP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with low-latency applications for voice and video.
• Knowledge of IPv6 addressing.
• Experience managing Brocade ICX Series switches in production environments.
• A background working with industry-standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc.
• Experience using network monitoring platforms that leverage SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc.
