About the Job
We are hiring a Network Admin III to start immediately. This can be a direct start position without interviewing for the right candidate.
- 100% on site in Rancho Cucamonga
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Up to $55/hour on W2, contract to hire with benefits
- Must be comfortable working within a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
Role and Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture
- Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure enhancements and new projects to meet business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop and enforce network architecture standards, ensuring scalability and security of the network.
Network Administration
- Manage and monitor network performance, reliability, and usage using advanced network management tools.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform network capacity planning and implement upgrades to support growth and evolving needs.
Network Security
- Develop and implement security protocols and policies to protect network resources, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and address risks.
- Respond to network security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues, providing Tier III support for critical incidents.
- Utilize network monitoring and diagnostic tools to quickly respond to and address network outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve interdependencies between applications, systems, and network resources.
- Assistance with IT support requests.
- Coordinating with third-party technical support services.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, availability, and capacity for IT leadership.
- Document incident response procedures and contribute to knowledge base for ongoing support and training.
Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor junior network administrators, providing guidance on best practices and technical skills.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align network solutions with business goals.
- Participate in IT project planning and strategic discussions to optimize network resources.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
