We are currently seeking a Network Administrator II - Hillsboro, OR 97124 for the project detailed below.

Job Title: Network Administrator III

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124

Duration: 5 Months CONTRACT

Job Description:

Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.

Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.

Provides technical support and guidance to users. Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.

Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.

Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Onsite Physical Touch Datacenter/Network Support. Rack, Stack activities, Cross Connect
• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Physical Touch Datacenter Support, Rack/Stack, Cable, Logistics/Asset Management
• What will the work schedule be for this position? (M-F? 8-5? Overtime? Afterhours?) M-F 8-5 OT as needed
• Will there be OC (on call) or differentials? none
• How many overall years of experience should this person have? 2+ years physical touch experience working in enterprise data centers. Specifically in network cabling, cable management, rack/stack activities.
• If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? Contract Role
• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Possibly. As it relates to traveling between locations yes, i.e., Hillsboro has 5 campuses techs may have to drive between campuses, though it’s not always. Someone may start in chandler and head to ocotillo, etc. What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? N/A
• How soon will the candidate review and interviews start? 48-72 hours
