Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
Salary: $55,000 - $85,000
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Work Arrangement: In-office

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to enhance our IT infrastructure and drive innovation within our technology processes. This role is essential for maintaining and optimizing network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, and supporting operational efficiency across local and remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert recommendations and strategies for network administration, focusing on switches, routers, servers, and related software.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager on strategic IT planning and contribute to maintaining computer networks, including VPNs and network segmentation.
• Deliver support for network, hardware, and software across various locations.
• Design, configure, and analyze LAN/WAN/WLAN networks to meet organizational needs.
• Respond to network-related trouble tickets and document resolutions for future reference.
• Assist the IT department with administrative and helpdesk tasks as needed.
• Work with the IT Manager to develop roadmaps for future network infrastructure enhancements.
• Monitor firewalls and network systems for anomalies, responding effectively to maintain network security and performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in network administration, particularly with Fortinet, Aruba, Client, Ubiquity, and IoT device management.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, network segmentation (VLANs, Subnetting, QoS, Routing), and related technologies.
• Ability to assist with various IT functions as required.
• Experience with server administration, Active Directory/Azure, and MS 365.
