Network Admin - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Admin in Hershey, PA to join a well-established health network and supporting a network segmentation initiative.

This is a 3-6 month assignment supporting imaging/radiology equipment. The role is second shift 3pm-11pm Mon-Fri. There is potential for extension to other related projects as well/full time conversion.

Looking for a start 2nd or 3rd week of December or sooner.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the identification of the Imaging/Radiology Devices that need to be segmented as part of the Network Segmentation Project
  • Converting the IP of every ethernet port and VLAN to a new VLAN
• Consultant will be going onto the floor, (from a spreadsheet) physically identifying the devices and the MAC Addresses for each device ( Portable & hardwired in rooms)
  • Manually identify ports and schedule times with employees
• Submit a request for a new IP or MAC address. Then linking the device to an external vendor or device owner (in most cases a dept manager) for testing
• Troubleshoot issues with end user computers and medical devices

Qualifications include:

• Experience working with IP address
• 1+ years’ Experience as a Network Analyst
• Clinical experience is a plus but not required
• Flexible to work onsite 2nd shift 3PM – 11PM Monday through Friday

Compensation includes:

• $30/hr-$35/hr
