Title: NetCracker BSS/OSS Suite QA Lead
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: San Jose, CA
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Adhere to documented test plans and meticulously report detailed bug reports.
• Collaborate with fellow testers to ensure consistent quality testing and bug reporting throughout the product's testing lifecycle.
• Understand and document testing procedures to maintain clarity and efficiency.
• Develop, publish, and implement test plans tailored to project requirements.
• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Create and manage test data for various scenarios to simulate real-world usage.
• Clearly document defects and re-verify them post-resolution to maintain product quality.
• Document test results accurately to provide clear insights into product performance.
• Analyze requirements for multi-tier architected web-commerce applications from industry-standard design documents.
• Develop high-level test design and planning documentation to guide testing processes effectively.
• Design, code, test, and execute test case scenarios to validate product functionality.
• Analyze test results to isolate and resolve defects efficiently, ensuring product stability.
• Support root cause analyses, reproduce issues, and provide relevant logs to development teams for expedited issue resolution.
• Design, develop, and implement QA test cases to validate software quality.
• Perform all aspects of verification, including functional, integration, structural, regression, load, and system testing to ensure product robustness.
• Experience & Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of Software Test/QA experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in testing principles and methodologies.
• Working experience and proficient understanding of NetCracker OSS/BSS suite.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Extensive experience in System Integration testing, UAT testing, End-to-end testing, and coordination with development teams to achieve comprehensive code coverage.
• Proficiency in manual testing, encompassing functional, integration, smoke, regression, and load testing techniques.
• Experience in SQL to effectively query databases for testing purposes.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies, standard QA processes, and software release cycles to drive efficient testing practices and ensure product quality.
